MICROTIA ATRESIA AUSTRALIA NDIS GUIDE

A Guide to Assist Families in Using NDIS Funds to Access our Services

Is Microtia Atresia Australia an accredited NDIS provider?

No

Can I use my NDIS funding to access your services?

Yes. If you are self-managed or plan-managed you ocan use your NDIS funds to access our services. Your NDIS plan can cover the costs for conference registration, online library purchases, webinars, family support and planning meetings and the purchase of bone conduction headphones.

I am agency-managed. Can I change the way my plan is managed?

If you are mid-plan and want to change, contact NDIS on 1800 800 110 to discuss how you can include plan-management in your plan and change to self-managing your plan.

I am plan-managed. What should I do?

For plan-managed families, we can invoice your Plan Manager directly on your behalf. We need your plan information to be able to do this. If you would like to pay upfront for any of our services, we recommend discussing our services with your Plan Manager prior to any purchases as some Plan Managers prefer to only pay invoices rather than offer reimbursements.

You can choose to pay upfront for our services and supports or request an invoice. If you pay upfront, you can then submit your receipt via the myplace portal for self-funded families, or via your Plan Manager if you are plan-managed (with prior approval).

If you use your NDIS funds to cover the costs of our services, there will be no out of pocket cost to you. We follow the NDIS pice guide for our services.
