Part 1 – This presentation by Dr Roberson covers all you need to know about atresia, how the hearing system develops and works, patient evaluation and also explains the surgical procedure for atresia repair.
Part 2 – This presentation details the different options for microtia reconstruction, and focuses on polyethylene implant ear reconstruction, and the CAM (combined atresia microtia) procedure where atresia repair and ear reconstruction are performed in a single surgical procedure. Dr Roberson gives detailed information about the procedure and results.
Part 3 – In this presentation, Dr Roberson discusses the new Roberson CAMP (Combined Atresia Microtia Prosthesis) – a new 3D implant designed by Dr Roberson for CAM surgery. It also includes a Q&A session where many questions parents have were answered.
